How to apply for a UK visa
Applying for a UK visa is a 3 step process:
- 1. Visit GOV.UK to make your visa application, pay your fee, and book your appointment online for one of our visa application centres.
- 2. When you have booked your appointment, you should create an account (‘register’) on this site. This will speed up your visit to the visa application centre, allow you to track your application, and enable you to buy optional Added Value Services.
- 3. Decide how you want your passport to be returned once a decision has been made. For an additional fee, you can use the optional courier delivery service which will mean that you not need to return to the visa application centre to collect your passport. There is a new worldwide requirement for children under 5 to have their photographs taken at the visa application centres. This means that in order to complete the application process, the child must be taken to the visa application centre. This does not affect applications that have already been submitted.
